Canadian Geography

In this course, you will learn ways that maps are useful and practice reading them. You will explore the geography of Canada and its abundance of natural resources and how Canada’s physical features influence population size and where people and businesses choose to locate. You will read and interpret graphs to identify trends and make predictions. Lastly, you will learn why Canada is proud of its diverse population and culture.

Writing an Essay
In this course, you will learn to identify parts of a 5-paragraph essay. You will learn to read writing prompt instructions and understand how to answer them. You will get hands-on writing experience using strategies like brainstorming, drafting rough copies, revising and editing to create an essay with a thesis statement, introduction, body and concluding paragraphs.
