Application Process

1. Check your eligibility. 

To apply for this Employment Ontario program, you must

  • be an Ontario resident

  • be 19 years or older

  • have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN)

Temporary SINs that begin with 9 must be current and you must be a

  • Refugee with an open work permit or

  • Refugee Claimant with an open work permit or

  • Permanent Resident

Your SIN will be encrypted to protect your privacy.
After we enter it into the Employment Ontario Case Management System it is deleted from our records.


2. Complete a registration form.  

Go to the Apply Now page to fill out our online registration form.


3. Complete a short skills assessment.

Once you submit your application, you will be directed to an intake assessment. 


4. Wait to hear from our Intake Team.

Our Intake Team will review your application and contact you if we have any questions. 

When your file is ready, you will be assigned to an Online Practitioner who will help you select courses to start your upgrading.
