FAQ–For Learners

  1. Do I need a high-speed Internet connection?

    It is recommended that you have access to a high speed Internet connection for many of our online programs to work properly.

  2. Do I need speakers?

    Yes, most of our online courses have an audio component.

  3. Do I need a microphone?

    Yes, you will need a microphone if you register for Live Classes. If you don’t have a microphone you will still be able to listen to the instructor using your speakers but a microphone makes it easier to communicate during Live Classes.

  4. Do I need a web cam?

    No, a web cam is not required for any of our online classes.

  5. Where can I attend my Live Classes?

    You can attend your Live Classes anywhere that you have access to a computer and the Internet. If you don’t have a computer with the Internet at home, you can go to your local learning centre to participate in LearningHUB upgrading. How to Find Access to a Computer

  6. Where can I work on my Independent Study courses?

    You can work on your Independent Study courses anywhere that you have access to a computer and the Internet. If you don’t have a computer with the Internet at home, you can go to your local learning centre to participate in LearningHUB upgrading. How to Find Access to a Computer

  7. How do I login?

    Your LearningHUB practitioner will send you login instructions to access your online courses after your registration is complete. The LearningHUB uses several learning platforms so depending on what type of upgrading you are working on you may be on one or more different learning platforms.

  8. Who do I ask for help if I have questions?

    If you have any questions during your upgrading with the LearningHUB, contact your online practitioner for assistance.

  9. Will you tell my classroom instructor how I am doing?

    If you include your classroom instructor’s contact information on your registration form the LearningHUB staff will include them on all emails about your progress, login information, answers to your questions etc.

  10. What if I log into my account and my courses don’t show up?

    If your LearningHUB practitioner has sent your login information and your classes don’t show up in your account, contact your LearningHUB practitioner to ask for help.
