GED Information

The GED, or General Educational Development testing program, allows students who did not complete high school, to work towards an Ontario High School equivalency certificate. The actual GED test consists of five subject areas: Science, Social Studies, Language Arts Reading, Language Arts Writing, and Math.

The Learning Hub is pleased to offer online preparation for students who want to pursue their GED certificate. We will assess your skill level in each subject area, and recommend independent online courses and/or online classes, which will help you upgrade in those areas.

Upon successful completion of these courses, you can fill out an application form to take the final test. To access the application form, and to find a list of testing locations, click on: GED Testing.

If you would like more information on the GED, please contact us.
